Passionate about helping families get, not only the sleep they deserve, but the sleep that they need for their health, happiness and wellbeing.

Hi, I'm Jo-Anne

A certified children’s sleep consultant based in Bromley Kent, and the proud owner of Happy Nights Infant Sleep Consultancy.

I have had the privilege to be around children for as long as I can remember. I would visit with my mother everyday after school at her nursery and would regularly babysit for many of the families during weekends. Eventually, I trained in Management and Personnel, but the pull back to working with children was too great and in my mid twenties I retrained and began my new life working with babies, children and their families.

As a sleep consultant it would be easy to assume my children sleep well every night, but like all parents I’ve had my fair share of sleepless nights. As a mum of three, I vividly remember the joy of those early years – but I also remember times coloured by tiredness, stress and anxiety.

Every child is unique and all my children have very individual personalities and had very different sleep issues – so for each of them, I had to find different approaches to encourage their sleep, without ever resorting to ‘cry – it -out ‘.

I have taken this experience with me into work. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to parenting, nor to sleep. I work with each child and family individually to help find the solution that works best for them.

My Training as a Children’s Sleep Consultant.

I have spent the past 22 years working with children, from new-borns to the age of six, and now I help families to find their way to restful nights. I have been through an extensive training and mentoring programme to qualify as a Certified Sleep Consultant and I am a proud member of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants who recognise my expertise and abilities through their membership and a member of the IPSA where I continue to learn about the latest news regarding paediatric sleep. All this has equipped me with the tools and the knowledge to help improve sleep both though the night and napping.
